Stoners and Self-Appointed Saints
The best thing about being a writer and having someone publish my book was that I felt like forty years of being a loser had finally paid off. I had a book! Thank the Royal Baby Jesus! Sadly, I ended up getting in a big fight with the publisher a year or two after it came out and they pulled it from their list. Happily, it stayed on Amazon regardless. So there.
All publishing crap aside, I was lucky to get some nice reviews including this awesome shout out from Dave Eggers in the Boston Globe, "A very good book I read recently is Annie La Ganga’s “Stoners and Self-Appointed Saints,’’ a collection of very short vignettes about being dumb and reckless in your 20s. It’s really funny and moving and very real, insanely candid. I haven’t read anything like it in a while."
I decided to make a downloadable .pdf of the book, a second edition, and you can buy it by clicking on the Buy Now button below.
I hope you like my little book. I'm proud of it. And if you do buy it, feel free to share it, as often as you like, with anyone you think might enjoy it.
